A BODY WITHOUT ORGANS

This is an exploration of the ideas presented in Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari’s A Thousand Plateaus. Namely, a body without organs. The relationship between the organism and the body without organs is one of conflict. The body without organs is a response of revolution to the idea of god and his orderly placement of organs and their sensible functions. And the purpose behind the BwO is to spit in the face of this orderly representation of the body by the deconstruction and reconstruction of one’s “pieces”.
